Diplomats of the mullahs’ dictatorship returned to Iran in disgrace after being expelled from Canada and the mullahs’ mission in Ottawa being shut down.
“Last week, in an irrational and hasty measure, Canada closed down its embassy in Tehran and gave Iranian diplomats five days to leave its territories,” the Revolutionary Guards-affiliated Fars news agency reported.
“This was a hostile measure by the Canadian government, and they did not provide us any explanations,” said Sheikh Hosseini, the mullahs’ charge de’ affairs in Ottawa.
“No reason or excuse comes to mind for such an action,” said the mullahs’ foreign ministry spokesman.
However, Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird in his first statement cited the clerical regimes’ human rights violations, threat to world peace, involvement in terrorist activities and efforts to obtain nuclear weapons for severing relations with the clerical dictatorship, closing its embassy and expelling the regime’s diplomat terrorists from Canada.
