Iran: regime factions admit Rouhani promises of economic openings are hoax

Following the remarks made by Mullah Hassan Rouhani at a cabinet meeting on July 22nd claiming a new era of economic openings after the nuclear agreement, newspapers belonging to both of the regime’s factions responded on July 23rd admitting all this is nothing but a mirage.
Javan daily, associated to the Bassij paramilitary forces wrote:
“The West is seeking cheap raw material under so-called long term contracts, and possibly some cooperation, while seeking a serious market to sell their own goods… in fact some countries are raising conditions for relations with us, such as developing relations with the Zionist regime!”
The state-run Arman daily associated to the Rafsanjani-Rouhani faction admitted:
“Up to now China brought about many problems for our economy. Now other countries are adopting similar policies. In fact, as the doors of Iran’s market open to foreign traders, domestic industry and production will face a major crisis and many domestic manufacturers and markets are very, very concerned.”
