The Hope Group for Palestinians in Syria said from the beginning of the Syrian revolution to this day 2,072 Palestinian refugees have lost their lives. This legal group said in its statement that 840 Palestinians in Camp Yarmouk in southern Damascus and 163 others in Camp Daraa in southern Syrian have been killed, losing their lives in bombings, direct gun fire battles and sieges.
It is worth noting that 500,000 Palestinians live in Syria, and most of them reside in Camp Yarmouk and tens of thousands of them have fled to neighboring countries.
