Supporters of PMOI launch their hunger strike in 12 countries across the globe

On Jan. 3, 1990, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), simultaneous with the first trip of United Nations Special Rapporteur to Iran, staged a hunger strike in 12 countries across the world.
The mullahs’ regime intended to escape from its responsibilities of its countless crimes particularly the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988 through political collusion.
Thousands of freedom loving Iranians took part in these hunger strikes throughout the world which were held in front of UN headquarters in New York, Geneva, London, Paris, Bonn, Amsterdam, Rome, Sydney, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, and Ottawa.
Detailed reports of the United Nations Special Rapporteur showed once again that the mullahs’ regime is an oppressive regime and a violator of human rights.
