Iran provides Iraq $80 million of electricity each month

Iran’s deputy oil minister announced this regime provides Maliki’s government $80 million worth of electricity each month.
“To this day three invoices totaling about $200 have been sent to Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity and Energy. However, these invoices have yet to be analyzed by Iraqi experts and this country has yet to pay these invoices in addition to its other debts to Iran,” Mohammad Behzad announced.
“Iran exports around $80 million of electricity to Iraq each month and this will increase soon with the construction and installation of new transfer lines,” he added.
These so-called donations by the clerical dictatorship to Maliki’s government take place while Iran’s officials have said the price of electricity export to Iraq to this day amounts to over $500,000. However, Maliki’s government claims it only $16,000 in electricity bills.
