The Iranian regime state television admitted on Thursday, October 1, 2015 that the Free Syrian Army positions have been hit on Wednesday. The television said that Russian airplanes have for the first time engaged in airstrikes in Syria hitting, what it called the ’terrorist positions.’ It said the areas which were bombed yesterday were all the “terrorist” Free Syria Army positions.

The US and the rest of the world consider the Free Syrian Army, FSA, as a legitimate opposition to the brutal and murderer Assad regime, but only three regimes including the mullahs’ regime in Iran, Bashar Assad of Syria and the Putin regime consider the FSA as terrorists. The US has been backing, training and arming the FSA fighters for past few months and has vowed to support and defend those forces who have been fighting Assad forces since the beginning of this civil war.
Despite continued denial by the Russians that they are fighting ISIS in Syria, it appears even stronger by the admission of the Iranian regime that the true aim of the Russia is to keep the child-killer and murderer Assad in power in Syria.
