Al-Tagheer TV in Iraq reported recent US documents unveiled classified information showing Iran equipped militants in Iraq with IEDs and anti-armor explosives that led to the deaths of thousands of Iraqis. This is in addition to 186 US soldiers that were killed by these bombs from 2005 to 2011.
Pentagon links these IEDs in Iraq with the activities of the Revolutionary Guards Quds Force commanded by Qassem Suleimani. However, they did not specify the extent of Iran’s role in arming these militants fighting US soldiers in Iraq with this type of IEDs.
