Arab coalition fighter jets continued their airstrikes on Houthi rebels and Ali Abdullah Salah forces in numerous areas, Al Arabiya TV reported on Wednesday, July 22nd.
On the ground, popular resistance forces made significant advances especially in the Anad military base in Lahij Province.
The city of Ta’ez witnessed heavy clashes and dozens of rebels and Salah militants being killed.
More than 30 Houthis and Salah forces were killed in clashes to take over the Anad base, and 50 others were arrested by the popular resistance units.
In Eb Province reports indicate a senior Houthi commander was killed by popular resistance forces in an ambush.
Houthi commanders have ordered their militants to evacuate Eb Province and return to Sa’de Province.
In Ta’ez Province popular resistance forces said following clashes with Houthi and Salah militants they have taken over areas near Sabr Mountain adjacent to the city of Ta’ez.
