The Kuwaiti daily Al Watan, reported on Sep. 17 that an Iranian delegation from social committee of parliament and Workers House, a governmental organization, during a visit to Kuwait in a meeting with workers union of Kuwait tried to influence the union to sign a joint statement backing the right of Iranian regime to use nuclear energy and to condemn United States policies and to condemn it. But the Kuwaiti delegation turned down the request proposes by Iranian delegation.

Quoting the news from sources within the workers union of Kuwait, Al Watan added: the Iranian delegation tried to convert its visit to a political visit, but itwas rejected by Kuwait.
