Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Chairwoman of the US House of Representatives Foreign Relations Committee described Ahmadinejad’s visit to Latin America as the “tyrants’ tour”, adding it is important for the US to impose the strongest possible sanctions against the Iranian regime.
Ros-Lehtinen continued to say the US must urge other democracies to enforce sanctions and prevent the Iranian regime access to financial institutions.
