On Wednesday, Nov. 21, more than 300,000 Iraqis including 600 Shiite tribal leaders from southern provinces of Iraq have signed a declaration condemning Iranian regime suppressive interferences and meddling in southern Iraq the main cause of “disorder” there, the declaration also condemned the false allegations formulated by the mullahs’ regime against the PMOI.

The declaration of 300,000 Shiite Iraqis says: “we, the signatories of this declaration announce:
1. The only solution and outlook in Iraq, and particularly in the southern provinces passes through eviction of the Iranian regime from our country. The experience of the last 25 years shows that the Iranian regime will never relinquish its evil and expansionist objectives.
2. The experience of the last four years of the Iranian regime’s suppression and fabrication have proved to everybody that making the false allegations and absolute false lies against the PMOI’s participation in killing Iraqi Shiites is only and only to cover the Iranian regime and its agents’ crimes in Iraq. Any rumors and fabrications against the PMOI is the repeat of the words by Iranian regime’s Intelligence Ministry’ words against the PMOI.
3. The claims of Iranian regime’s agents against the PMOI through the judiciary power regarding participation of the PMOI in Shiite suppression in Iraq is absolute lie and has no legal and judicial validity. These claims merely reveal the extent of infiltration of the religious fascism ruling Iran on the Iraqi political and legal institutions.

We Demand:
1. Sending a delegation by the United Nations to investigate the 4-yr atrocities of the Iranian regime and its agents in the southern provinces and to reveal them by this delegation.
2. Ending any reference to the allegations and rumors made by the Iranian regime against the PMOI.
3. Acknowledgment and obligation of the Iraqi government to the international laws and conventions and treaties regarding the PMOI’s status in Iraq, as has been emphasized by the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC).
4. The United States’ State Department must annul the terrorist designation of the PMOI. The European Union must abide by the European Court of Justice’s verdict. We consider maintaining this label as a dire strategic mistake against the Iraqi people’s interests.”

Al-Jazeera T.V. broadcasted this event. In an interview with chairman of the Association of National and Independent Iraqi Tribes, Sheikh Jasim Kadhem said : “in fact it is a declaration by southern Iraqi Shiites and it was signed by 300,000 Iraqis. The Declaration condemns the terrorist interferences in Iraq, especially measures by the Iranian regime to spread insecurity in Iraq by armed militias affiliated to the terrorist designated Qods force of IRGC.
