In an interview with Al-Arabiya TV, Ayatollah Dr. Fadhil al-Maliki, an Iraqi clergy residing in Qom, said: Iraq won’t tolerate the regime of Velayat-e-Faqih.
He rejected the sectarian government of Iraq and said: Today the religion is used as a slogan for retaliation and an ugly instrument for closing mouths, stupefaction of the people and propaganda for specific lists. This is the regime that is not tolerated in the present condition of Iraq; there are parties created and grown in Iran and armed by Iran that don’t represent the Iraqi people.
Ayatollah Fadhil al-Maliki added: Those who meddle in Iraq but aren’t Iraqis are deteriorating the situation; we say to them: Don’t meddle in our internal affairs.
Ayatullah Maliki condemned forcible veiling, killing unveiled women in Basra and said: the religion does not let harassment of women and unveiled women.
