British MP asks EU for harsh measures against IRGC

Member of defence committee of British Parliament Mr. Mike Hancock in a letter to the Portugal’s Prime Minister wrote: I would like to ask you, as rotating EU presidency, for adopting appropriate measures against the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) because of its extensive involvements in terrorism. I would like also to take the opportunity to call on the EU to lift all restrictions imposed on the Iranian opposition group the PMOI.

In his letter Mr. Hancock added: the Quds force as the foreign arm of the IRGC has been producing and distributing roadside bombs (EFP) in Iraq and recently in Afghanistan. In fact because of special training needed to use these bombs the Qods force is providing training courses for Iraqi insurgents, either Sunni or Shiite, for killing the MNFI forces.

Failure to take measures by the EU is not only shocking but also weakens the war on terror and makes it non-serious and paves the way for further terrorism in European streets.
