
Assad regime bombed the city of Zebdani near Damascus with more than 30 barrel bombs and surface-to-surface missiles, Al Arabiya TV cited activists saying on Wednesday, August 19th.
Members of armed Syrian opposition groups have called for more support for Zebdani civilians following an increase in airstrikes and attacks by the Assad regime.
The city council of Duma has announced the city as levelled to the ground and not fit for residents to live in. Following two years of intense siege by Assad troops the council is asking for conduits to be opened for humanitarian aids.
In response to Assad attacks armed opposition groups launched their attacks on the al-Ameriya and Ramusa districts in Aleppo with artillery and mortar rounds.
