Over 200 Pars Metal workers in Tehran staged a gathering outside the factory building protesting to the stoppage of the factory production line due to electric outage.
Incoming reports indicate the electricity of this production unit was disconnected a month ago due to the $1.3 million debt it owes to the state electric company in unpaid electric bills. According to factory officials, this factory must pay at least $800,000 to the Electric Department to have its electricity reconnected. Following the disconnection of electricity in this production unit, all activities and productions lines of this factory came to a halt during the last month.
