Ali Fazli, deputy head of the mullahs’ Bassij organization said the People’s Mojahedin were present in the 2009-10 uprisings and created serious troubles for the regime.
“The 8-month long sedition caused as much trouble for us as the 8-year war with Iraq,” he said in remarks at a Bassij gathering.
Fazli called on all Bassij members to carry out orders issued by Khamenei, adding there is a difficult road ahead because the ‘soft war is a war of concepts and beliefs’.
