
The Census Center in Iran published its most recent report on labor covering 2014. Men take part in economic activities five times more than women, according to this report.
62.5% of men are taking part in economic activities while these numbers are reported as 12% for women.
This report also shows unemployment for youths between the ages of 15 to 24 is 25.2%. On this index women are more unemployed than men.
Unemployment amongst men is 21.3% and 43.8% amongst women.
