Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance met and discussed with the vice-speaker of the Jordan’s Parliament and a number of the Jordanian MPs and personalities in her residence in Auver-sur-oise on Monday, June 30, and called on the Jordanian representatives to support the Iranian people’s just resistance for peace and freedom and confrontation against the clerical regime that is the first enemy of Islam and Moslems and the number one enemy of peace and progress of the people of the region.

In this meeting a number of Jordanian MPs including Dr. Mamdouh al-Ebadi, vice-speaker of Jordan’s Parliament, Mr.Mufleh al-Rahimi, leader of the majority faction and former minister, Mrs. Nariman al-Rousan, Munir Sabour, Ahmad al-Atoum, Ibrahim al-Amoush, Ibrahim al-Ghorabiyaand, Fakhri Eskandar Dawood, and Sulaiman Uwaidat, former MP and Fakhri Qaawar, former MP and chairman of the Union of Arab Writers , the attendants emphasized on support of the PMOI and Iranian Resistance for reaching freedom and peace and progress of all the people of the region.

Mrs. Rajavi emphasized on the common religious and cultural consociations of the two nations Iran and Jordan and their common struggle and the people of region against reaction and terrorism originated by the clerical dictatorship ruling Iran and said: If we look at the last three decades’ events, it is quite clear that the roots of the main problems has been the clerical regime. This is the anti-human and anti-Islamic Iranian regime that is after religious division and expansion of the arc known as Shiite Arc, and it is better to say Shiites fundamentalism, in order to cover its historic and basic internal crisis and to recoup it with export of terrorism and fundamentalism.

Mrs Rajavi added: The clerical regime’s lobby tries to figure the nuclear bomb in this regime’s hands is a balance weight for Moslems and Arabs regarding Israel, but this is a big lie. Rafsanjani who is introduced by some as a moderate and pragmatic person, had told since two decades ago” If we acquire nuclear bomb nobody can resist against the idea of expansion of the Islamic government”, this is the main target of the clerical regime of acquiring nuclear weapon.

Mrs. Rajavi said: I ask you to join the Iranian Resistance and the PMOI and democratic forces and the oppressed people of Iraq in this war of death or life. This is the necessity of ending threats of religious fascism ruling Iran; this is the burden upon our shoulders in this period of time.

Dr. Mamdouh al-Ebadi, vice-speaker of Jordan’s Parliament, said: We desire Iran to be free and democratic and based on justice and equality. Those who claim Islam and revolution but flare up sectarianism and religious discrimination are killing the people in Iraq based of the religious identity now; We have never been facing religious division in Jordan and in Iraq, these divisions and religious separations is due to infamous intentions of sham claimants of Islam.

Mrs. Nariman al-Rousan, Jordanian MP, said: We, as Moslem women, are proud of you and regard you symbolizing our values, the people of Arab countries won’t be deceived by the deceptive claims of the ruling mullahs, the patriotic forces, either in Jordan or Iraq evaluate each force according to its democratic function, I wish success for you as a lady conveyor of humanitarian and democratic values.
