Sheikh Ahmad Aziz al-Bayati, member of the Salahaddin Provincial Council in Iraq described the transfer of 397 Ashraf residents to Liberty as the plan of the Iranian regime’s proxies in this country, implemented through pressures imposed by the mullahs’ regime.
“Those who are in Liberty are prisoners, not refugees, and that place has been turned into a prison based on the strategy defined by the Iranian regime,” Sheikh al-Bayati stressed. “All noble Iraqis are aware of this and oppose such measures. The UN should not remain silent and must have direct presence at the scene and carry out the actions necessary for their resettlement in third countries.”
