Tight security measures in Sanandaj

Fearing protests in the city of Sanandaj in Kurdistan Province (western Iran) following the execution of Habibollah Latifi, tight security measures were imposed throughout the streets on Sunday. Reports indicate the Ministry of Intelligence and suppressive forces of the IRGC and state security forces were on full-alert. The Mullahs’ Ministry of Interior has dispatched a special team in the city to control and coordinate measures with the Kurdistan Province Intelligence Department.
According to state-run websites, the Iranian regime’s judicial officials had informed Saleh Nikbakht, defending attorney of Habibollah Latifi, on Thursday, December 23rd that his client’s death sentence will definitely be carried out on Sunday, December 26th.
