A high ranking UN Security Council diplomat revealed that UN’s Syria envoy Lakhdar Brahimi in his trip to Iran is not pleased regarding the issues raised in his meetings because most of the remarks he heard from the Iranians were negative. He said if the Syrian presidential elections are held he will resign from his post because this will close all doors to negotiations.
