In an article in Asharq al-Awsat daily, Khalifa Ben Abdullah al-Khakifa, Bahrain’s ambassador to Britain, wrote: The policy of offering economic incentives to the Iranian regime vis-à-vis Uranium enrichment by the West is futile, because the Iranian regime doesn’t accept it. Although military option for US is of great problems, however this country is after serious financial and economic sanctions against Iran and is going to put restrictions on the vital sectors of regime’s economy.

Khalifa Ben Abdullah added: The recent US NIE report did not mean to confirm the Iranian regime’s nuclear program, rather it merely confirmed halting military nuclear program in 2003, but the peaceful objective of this program before that year and in the coming yeas is not proven yet.
