Al-Jazeera TV, 30 October 2010 – Dr. Saleh Mutlaq, leader of the Iraqi Front for National Dialogue and senior Iraqiya member welcomed the Saudi King Abdullah’s invitation.
“There is no doubt that this is an honorable invitation proposed by an honorable and generous figure, enjoying the respect of the majority of political fractions (if not to say all), and Arabic and Islamic countries,” Dr. Mutlaq said. “There are very flagrant regional interferences in Iraq, and Saudi Arabia does not intend to be one of these interfering parties… This is a historical opportunity for an Arab, national, strong and unified Iraq as part of the Arab world, far from foreign intervention.”
