Tehran: students at Art University gathered on Sunday to protest the security climate in the campus. They called for the resignation of the university president they also demanded to have the freedom of congregation and student activities in the campus.

Tehran: a group of workers who had been expelled from their jobs at a shoe factory congregated outside the courthouse in Vali-Asr Ave. protesting the decision and withholding their unpaid salaries. These workers, who had between 26 to 30 years of experience, were expelled from their jobs last month without any notice.

Bandar Abbas: a group of young residents of Bahman 22 district, clashed with the security agents who were attempting to arrest two young men. The guards fired shots in to the air to disperse the crowd, but people in the vicinity and bystanders rushed to the aid of the young men and inflicted injuries to the guards forcing them to flee.

Zahab Bridge: workers at Abr-Saz Company on Saturday December 14, congregated in front of the financial office of the company demanding their two months unpaid salaries

Larestan: a member of the security forces in Larestan, Fars province, southern Iran was killed. IRNA official news agency reported that lieutenant Hassan Goodarzi was killed during a clash with the armed men.
