Mahmoud Golzari, deputy Minister of Sports in youth’s affairs, said each year 5 million graduates are unemployed in the country and unemployment among the youths is 15% more than the number of youths throughout Iran.
Golzari, whose remarks in press conference at the Ministry of Sports were published in the state-run Siyasate-Ruz daily (June 1st), described unemployment amongst the youths as an important concern.
“In Iran we consider the ages of 15 to 29 as among the youth, and we have 24 million youths in the country,” he said.
