A terrorist network of the special groups and militias affiliated to the Iranian regime was destroyed in southern Baghdad and a number of its elements were arrested.

The US Army announced that the Multi National Forces in Iraq arrested a Shiite militia commander along with three others during an attack in South of Baghdad.

The US Army statement added that those arrests were taken place to break up the criminal networks. The commander of the network led a special group and was involved in terrorist attacks and was supported by the Iranian regime.
