On Tuesday, Dec. 11, a press conference was held in Brussels by Mr. Mohaddessin, Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, during which latest developments concerning Iranian regime nuclear project were revealed for the journalists.
Mr. Mohaddessin said: “we announce decisively the clerical regime is currently continuing its military efforts to obtain nuclear weapons.”
He continued: The US intelligence community report (NIE) contains some correct points and some wrong points; it does not illustrate a correct picture about Iranian military nuclear program. The fact that Tehran stopped its nuclear military program in fall 2003 is part of the rality, nonetheless the fact that this suspension continued till mid 2007 is totally false.
Mohaddessin added: the suspension of Iranian regime’s nuclear program dates back to the time when the Shian site in Lavizan on March 15, 2003 was exposed. Iranian regime demolished the whole site in late 2003, to avoid inspection of the site by the UN nuclear agency IAEA. Iranian regime had to work more secretly afterwards and its program for producing atomic bomb was forced to stop at least for one year.
Iranian regime first transferred its clandestine equipment to another location called ” the Center for preparation and advanced new defense technology (Lavizan2)” , and from there were transferred to some other secret places. It is quite clear that the nuclear program was resumed in 2004.
