A number of Sanandaj workers on Friday, May 16th, held ceremonies expressing their solidarity with the families and victims of the Suma mine disaster in Turkey, and strongly condemned the arrest of Jafar Azimzadeh and Jamil Mohammadi and demanded their immediate release.

These two prisoners were focusing their efforts to have the demands of their colleagues reached.

The protesting workers also condemned the continued pressure and harassing of workers and labor rights activists, demanding an end to these pressures and the release of the imprisoned workers.
