Hello dear friends, good afternoon to you all. It’s always so good to see such an impressive crowd here. Every year the crowd is bigger and bigger. There will be one year there will be so many Iranians in this hall that the supreme leader will be alone in Tehran.
Dear friends, I send from here together with my colleagues, members of the European Parliament and former members of the European Parliament a warm greeting to the residents of Camp Liberty. Our example and our moral reference in the long struggle against the tyranny oppressing the people of Iran. The solution to the humanitarian problem of Camp Liberty can be found if there is the sufficient political will by the European Union and the United States.
Recent events in relation to the aggravation of the immigration crisis in Europe have proven that resources are mobilized and procedures are established when the pressure becomes really intense. We want the residents of Camp Liberty in safe countries, away from the claws of the regime of the ayatollahs and we want it now before it’s too late.
About the nuclear negotiations with the Iranian regime, the regime has never fulfilled its commitments. They have always lied and deceived and therefore nothing and they will sign will be valid form them. Any agreement that does not guarantee snap inspections, the complete elimination of uranium enrichment capacity and their adherence to the Additional Protocol of Non-Proliferation Treaty will be completely worthless. President Obama, High Representative Mogherini, wake up and don’t let yourselves be fooled.
As for the fight against ISIS the Iranian regime cannot be our ally in the war against Islamic terrorists. The presence of forces of the Iranian regime in Iraq and Syria must not be tolerated and the alliance with Iran to end ISIS will destroy all traces of democracy in the region. This is not a choice between the devil and deep sea. We must both defeat and learn how to swim. The time has come to change that policy and listen to the National Council of Resistance of Iran who proposes the right strategy to transform Iran into a true democracy and a positive player in the international scene, and I want to assure you one thing. We will not rest until we succeed.
