French news agency reported on Oct. 3, French Prime Minister Francois Fillon, speaking in parliament on Wednesday, said Paris wanted both “stronger economic sanctions and to intensify diplomatic initiatives” toward Tehran.
“France will spare no effort to see a logic of peace and security prevail in the Middle East,” he said.
“We believe that all the avenues of dialogue with the great nation that is Iran have yet to be explored ” Fillon said.
