Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has confirmed the transitional cabinet presented by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. Most of the cabinet members are figures close to the Justice and Development Party.
For the first time two ministers from a party close to the Kurds are present in the Turkish government. The Minister of European Affairs and the Minister of Development are members of the Democratic People’s Party that enjoys a strong base amongst the Kurds.
