Syrian rebels in northern Homs were able to deliver a blow to Assad forces, killing over 30 of them and completely taking over the city of ‘Um Sharshuh’, Orient TV reported.
Activists in the city of Homs said rebels in this area took over the region of ‘Um Sharshuh’ after extensive clashes. At least 30 Assad troops were killed and dozens of others were reported injured.
