
Tehran: A number of students from Free Medical University in Tehran gathered outside the parliament on Sunday to protest the rise in the minimum required grade for admission in to university and also against preparing unstandardized questioners for the exams.
Tehran: students from ’Sharq Free University’ protested against illegal closure of the school and all the classes for one whole week. The demonstration took place in front of the office of the president.
Tehran: about 700 of Tehran’s communication department employees braved the rain and cold on Tuesday to protest unpaid wages. The protesting employees demanded to be properly and officially hired and to receive regular salary and have social security benefits. The protesting workers had come from cities throughout the country, gathered outside the parliament on Tuesday.
Fars province: a group of people from ’Haji-abad’ in Fars province who gathered in a sport stadium to celebrate the Eid al-Adha last Tuesday, turned the event in a anti-regime protest chanting slogans against the Friday prayer leader of the town.
