Maliki confronts Iraq’s political leaders and movements

The new Iraq dictator Nouri Maliki, who is entangled in irredeemable crises and the wave of antipathy towards his actions and policies is rising by the day, in a hysteric reaction at a news conference warned Iraq’s political leaders and movements, Arab and Kurds, and said while trying to justify his aggressive actions: “I ask who has indicated the state borders? Didn’t the Ruling Council specify it saying that state borders are those which were on the day of the former regime’s downfall? Who has given the permission for the state territories to spread to the areas of conflict? Who? Minister? Prime Minister? Who had given you the right to spread out? And under what authority do state forces have presence in these areas?”
Maliki also attacked Jalal Talabani saying, “They see no difference between a declaration of war, which needs the parliament’s vote, and the Army being part of the security operation. Why do you object to the formation of the Dijla Operation? If the Army’s movement within Iraq is prohibited, then how are armored vehicles, tanks and APCs moved from Kurdistan towards the central region?”
