In a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington on Friday, Sept. 26, Alireza Jafarzadeh revealed new details of war-mongering and terrorist plans of the Iranian regime.
In this conference, Jaafarzadeh presented the intelligence obtained by the PMOI network inside Iran regarding the changes the Iranian regime has established in its military system that would serve its war-mongering and terrorist policies including:
· Change of the Iranian Defense Ministry location
· Changes in organization of the IRGC missile unit
· Replacement of commander of Air and Space Organization
Jaafarzadeh said: “Mohammad Ali Jaafari, the IRGC commander, has decided to make the IRGC missile unit independent in order to reinforce it. According to this plan, the number of IRGC missile units are supposed to be increased.”
Jaafarzadeh added: “The Iranian regime carries out its military-missile test under the cover of satellite launching tests. As an example, the regime announced on August 17, 2008 that it had launched a missile carrying a satellite named “Safir-e- Omid”. Ahmadinejad took part in that ceremony. Through its propaganda, the Iranian regime pretended that the event had been a scientific and research advancement, but the information obtained from inside the regime indicate that the project of Safir-e-Omid launching test had been a totally military project carried out by the Air-Space Organization in the regime’s Defense Ministry.”
Jaafarzadeh added: “The launched missile was made at Hemmat Industry in Tehran, the regime’s ballistic missile manufacturing center, and the missile had been launched from a military base of Air and Space Organization located 70 kilometers after Semnan toward the desert.”
Jaafarzadeh said: “Contrary to the Iran’s extensive propaganda, the reports indicate that the missile launching has not been successful and the missile never reached the desired orbit. “
