Uprisings in Tehran continued on Thursday with people and brave youth staging demonstrations in various areas of Tehran and confronting the regime’s State Security Force units and plain clothes agents. People in Hassan Abad Square staged protests and clashed with the mullahs’ agents.
With strikes continuing in the Bazaar, the store owners took to the streets surrounding Tehran’s Bazaar including Lalezar district, Ferdowsi Avenue and Square, Hassan Abad Square and Toopkhane Square, staging gatherings and protests.
Reports indicate tool store owners in Hassan Abad Square went on strike in support of the Bazaar strike and confronted the SSF units attacks.
In Ferdowsi Avenue and Lalezar district, moneychangers closed their stores and staged gatherings with people joining their ranks to form a large protest. The repressive SSF forces and plainclothes agents attacked the protesters in an attempt to prevent the spreading of demonstrations to other areas. The protesters however gathered once again in Lalezar Avenue and chanted anti-government slogans.
Despite the military rule-like atmosphere with numerous SSF units stationed throughout central Tehran and the Bazaar, all moneychangers in Ferdowsi Avenue to the Istanbul Intersection closed their stores and joined the Bazaar strike.
