August 1, 1982 marks the heroic resistance of a number of commanders and officials of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) against the brutal attacks of the Iranian regime’s IRGC.
A group of PMOI members commanded by Commander Siavosh Saifi fought bravely for several hours against the IRGC forces in several bases at different places in Tehran. They fought to their last bullet and finallywere martyred heroically.
Among the martyrs was 60-yr old mother Zaerian who fought and resisted along with her brave children and ultimately sacrificed her life for freedom of the Iranian people.
