US Congress resolution condemning human rights abuse in Iran

The US Congress adopted a resolution on Wednesday condemning the gross violation of human rights in Iran. The timing of this resolution coincides with the ongoing nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 group in Vienna.
Representative Ed Royce, chair of the House foreign Relations Committee said that it is necessary for us in the US Congress, as it always has done, to stand by the people who live under this religious government and are suffering from it.
The US annual report issued by the Freedom of Religion Committee for 2014 indicates that Iran is systematically violating the freedom of religion through torture and imprisonment.
