On the sixth day of Iranians’ sit-in in support of Ashraf citizens outside the UN headquarters in New York, Mrs. Gina Pendli, professor of Connecticut University, delivered speech among the sit-in participants and said: Regarding your protest against the danger of human tragedy against Ashraf freedom-lovers, I am standing with you and declare my solidarity with the residents of Ashraf and their relatives, families and friends.

Reverend Stephanner, from Brooklyn, said: The time has come to pay attention to the crimes happening in Iran. I say wholeheartedly that Ashraf people aren’t terrorists; rather they are freedom-loving people who are fighting to free their country from despotism under the cover of religion. The time has come that the UN listens to this sit-in demands and bring them into reality.

Dr. Ahmad Rajavi and Mrs. Mahin Meshkinfam, members of the National Council or Resistance of Iran (NCRI), also delivered their speeches.
