Bahrain’s top diplomat called for a “Friends of Iran People conference.
One senior Bahrain Foreign Ministry official told Asharq Al-Awsat daily this idea by Bahrain’s Foreign Minister comes in response to Iran’s provocative and continuous meddling in Bahrain’s internal affairs.
“I believe the time has come to review what is taking place against the Iranian people, from the crackdown and the cruelty imposed by the Iranian regime,” said Bahrain’s Deputy Foreign Minister Hamed al-Amer.
