Lebanon youths re-launch rallies outside of Beirut, demanding “real revolution”

Youths in Lebanon once again poured to the streets of Beirut and expressed their anger on corruption, lack of public services and a political stalemate paralyzing their country.
A group of these demonstrators were seen throwing eggs at Lebanese politicians and chanting, “Thieves, thieves, get lost!”
“Lebanon needs a real revolution. We are tired of these rulers. We don’t want a dictatorship based on sectarian rationing,” a demonstrator said.
Subsequently, news reports indicated that Prime Minister Tammam Salam will be implementing a plan to resolve the trash crisis. Due to obstructions by the Lebanese Hezbollah, this country currently lacks a president and its political and administrative system is completely paralyzed.
The Lebanese Council of Ministers closed its emergency session by adopting a plan to resolve the trash crisis. This dilemma has continued for months now, leading to the current demonstrations rocking the entire country.
“The government has agreed to provide a role to the municipalities to resolve the trash crisis under the supervision of relevant ministries. Moreover, arrangements have been made to launch two new sites to dump the trash,” the country’s Minister of Agriculture said.
