Aljazeera T.V. on Oct. 4 reported that in a press conference Iraqi Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi said that Iraqi Accord front and a number of political factions are getting close to an agreement on a comprehensive national plan.

He added everyone has agreed that the National Covenant Plan for Iraq which had been proposed by Islamic party can be used as a basis for taking Iraq out of present crises.

Tariq al-Hashemi’s comment came after a meeting with the Sadr Movement, Fadhila Party, Iraqi National Dialogue Front, independent Arabic faction and political personalities.
