According to supplementary reports about the gathering of 3,000 workers of Haft Tappeh sugar cane, the agents of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence have taken pictures and films from striking workers of sugar cane factory and have threatened them of being arrested.

A number of workers including Feriedoon Nikoofar, Mehrdad Ghassab, Rahim Vethagh, Rahim Alijani, Ramazan Ali-Pour and five other striking workers were attacked, beaten and interrogated by members of the Intelligence and Security Ministry.

On the other side, the Union of Tehran’s Bus drivers announced in a statement their support of the just demands of the workers of sugar cane factory.
