
On Nov. 9, state run Iranian news agency ISNA reported that former Iranian president Mohammad Khatami in fearful words said: “our country is facing great threats and unfortunately there is possibility of facing further problems.”
Speaking in the central office of Assembly of Clerics, Khatami warned the government factions and said: “I am not saying there is bad faith, but there is carelessness and improper expert work. The condition of the country does not permit us to do something in weakening the government… we must think how to take away the country from threats…”
