Labor protests flaring across various Iranian cities

Bandar Abbas:
Over 200 workers of the Saz and Pad Company, a member of the Bandar Abbas refinery firm complex, have gone on strike. According to the striking workers they have not received any wages or pensions for the past 6 months.


Bushehr:
According to reports obtained from inside Iran, petrochemical workers of phases 13 and 19 in Aslaviya near Bushehr have gone on strike protesting not receiving their paychecks for the past 5 months.


Isfahan:
The representatives of over 50 villages east of Isfahan staged a rally outside the Isfahan governor’s office protesting being deprived of agricultural water, and demanding their water rights. These representatives said the farmers will continue their protests until all their demands are met.
In other news, on Friday, February 21st, a group of farmers from Isfahan’s Khorasagan region staged a gathering to protest being deprived of water and the regime not paying them any financial compensation.
