Regarding the new draft resolution against Iran, Undersecretary of State R. Nicholas Burns said: ’This will come as a rude shock to the Iranians. He also called the agreement of major powers on the draft a significant achievement.
A European diplomat said that approval of this resolution makes Iranian regime’s trades much more difficult in the international level. This will give a political message to the the Iranian regime, which is getting prepared for the elections, that not only the pressures have not been reduced but intensified.
