Le Monde: foreign observers accuse Maliki of elections rigging

Based on the elections results the State-of-Law slate of Maliki’s party has gained only 92 of 328 seats of the Iraqi Parliament. Various foreign observers are accusing Maliki of rigging and doctoring the elections.
Le Monde emphasized Maliki’s political rivals will not easily allow him to shape his coalition. In their opinion and those of Maliki’s political rivals, another term with him as prime minister will lead to a dictatorship.
They believe Maliki’s method of administrating the government in Iraq, especially during the past few months, has been with numerous violent attacks. Therefore, Maliki’s opponents say the State-of-Law coalition must present a candidate other than Maliki for the premier post.
Le Monde adds 3,500 people killed in Iraq’s suicide attacks from the beginning of 2014 to this day has not left much credibility for Maliki.
