In a report from Iraqi Diyala Province, Al-Diyar , Iraqi TV, reflected the anger and disgust of province inhabitants against the Iranian regime’s meddling, and their support of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI).
Sheikh Naim al-Ali, an official of Diyala’s Awakening Councils, said: The village of Al-Wesha’ was the first place that stood against the terrorist attacks and in fact against the Iranian regime, because Al-Qaeda was supported only and only by the Iranian regime; when we overcame the situation, we gained arms from them and saw they were Iranian weapons; we saw mortar launchers which were Iran-made; and even when we arrested or killed a number of those criminals we found they carried Iranian money. They were directly supported by the Iranian regime; even the persons who were in Al-Qaeda as divine law governors were Iranians; they didn’t know Arabic and they talked Persian.
Sheikh Naim showed the pictures of 12 villagers who were killed by the Iranian regime’s affiliated terrorists, and pointed out that the PMOI helped the people of that region.
He said: This is while the government doesn’t help us at all, we have many pains but unfortunately we received no answer neither from the government, nor from anybody else; only the PMOI helped us.
