Drivers of large trucks and public transportation vehicles staged a gathering outside the mullahs’ Majlis (parliament) in Tehran protesting a recent ban imposed on the use of heavy vehicles active for more than 20 years.
The drivers said despite the fact their trucks possess technical services documents, they are not allowed to enter large cities on the pretext that the vehicles are too old. This deprives the drivers of receiving low-cost facilitations.
