
The police in Iran says 92 young men and women were arrested in a Tabriz hotel for “eating during fasting hours”. Ali Ismaeel Pour, deputy of social affairs in East Azerbaijan Province State Security Force said the coffee shop in the hotel where these youths were arrested had been serving food during fasting hours from the beginning of Ramadan, and the police took action on Tuesday, July 23 when they were serving food.
In this raid 92 individuals, consisting of 41 women and 51 men from Tabriz had ordered food and they were all arrested along with the coffee shop director.
